Check it out: Chris Harrison's blog

Always love C-Harr's blog, and he has a coupel interesting tidbits this week:

Lindzi, as you saw, continues to cruise along at a very comfortable pace. Ben and Lindzi never have any drama and she makes life very easy for him.

Innnteresting. My money is on Lindzi at this point, even though I have Kacie winning my bracket and she's my personal fave!

Next week we return to the States for the all important hometown dates. This will be a huge week, as fortunes will quickly change for some of the women. I can tell you that these are among the most emotional hometowns we’ve ever seen, and the women all take tremendous strides forward. One hometown in particular goes in a direction that you’d never expect, and you’re just going to have to see it to Belize it.

I feel like he must be talking about Courtney - maybe she seems more like a normal person around her family? Hmm? Ahh I can't wait for hometowns.

Check it out: Interview with Chris Harrison

Oh Chris Harrison. You're the best.

First gem:

As Courtney says, these group dates are like one-on-one dates for her. I know it's rubbing everyone the wrong way, but it's rubbing Ben the right way.

Um, yeah. I'm pretty sure that's happening. All I'm going to say about that.

Was it awkward telling Casey S. she had to go home?
Harrison
: The whole point with her was that I didn't want it to be confrontational. In no way was it a
Bentley or Rozlyn thing, where she had come on to deceive. Through talking to the girls and hearing from the boyfriend [it was apparent] she was in love with this guy [at home] and she really just came to the realization on the show. I think she came on the show to try to get over this guy, but it just didn't work.

Hmmm...so the "girls" help out Casey and her love-lorn ways? Interestinggg.

Check it out: Chris Harrison's blog

I just love C-Harr's blog...especially when he gives useful dish on next week's episode!

As you saw at the end of the show, this is something that will continue to work itself out in the coming weeks. I was very sorry to see Emily take a huge step forward in realizing her mistake in talking about Courtney all the time… only to fall right back on the same sword and talk about Courtney. You could really tell this agitated Ben, and once again he warned her to back off. You also saw next week that there is obviously an incident involving Casey S. What I’ll tell you is this has something to do with her personal life back home and it concerned me enough to step in and talk to her about it. In next week’s blog I’ll explain exactly why I did what I did and how some of it was related to my regret of how I handled the Bentley situation with Ashley.

I had assumed Casey had found out someone in her family had died or something...which would obviously be a terrible thing to find out on the Bachelor. But Chris Harrison leads me to believe it's more of a "not there for the right reasons" type situation. Hmmm...can't wait to find out!

Check it out: Chris Harrison EW Blog

C Harr always delivers an entertaining blog. I was especially interested to hear his take on Ben and Jennifer:

Jennifer got the final date this week and to be honest Ben wasn’t too hopeful that this was going to go that well. He liked Jen but just wasn’t sure that there was a deeper connection there. After dropping into that crater and getting caught in the rain, Ben saw more than enough to give her the rose. The Clay Walker concert at the end of the night was a great event. We made it public days before that we were holding a concert and everybody in Park City was invited. As you saw, a ton of fans showed up to help make it a great night.

And here I was thinking Ben was super into Jennifer. I guess maybe I got that one wrong! Only time will tell! Check out Chris' blog, he's got some interesting insight into the Courtney thing as well...

Check it out: More insight from C Harr

Here's another snippet from Chris Harrison's interview with TV Guide:

Harrison: I thought it was horrible. I knew they weren't going to be happy, but they got mean. It was like a bad high school bullying session where they ganged up on her. I still think that Shawntel had every right to do what she did, she had just as much right to go say hi to Ben as everybody else did; and if he wants to keep her, that's his prerogative. ... I talked to Shawntel the next day because I felt very bad for her. Whether he kept her or not, she was prepared for that, but she wasn't prepared to be attacked the way she was.

Agreed, C Harr. Agreed.

Check it out: CHarr talks about Ben and Emily cheating death!

I always love Chris Harrison's blogs! Especially this week's insight into how scary it really is to climb the Bay Bridge:
Emily got the first date this week and I can easily say this was the scariest date we have ever had on this show. Before each date a member of our team will go through it first to make sure it works and to make sure there’s a good chance everybody will live to tell about it. When our crew member returned he told us climbing the Bay Bridge was beyond the craziest-scariest thing he had ever attempted, and this guy has done pretty much everything from skydiving to bungee jumping. Emily and Ben slowly made their way up the bridge, and what we failed to mention was once you start up there’s no turning back. The only way off the bridge was to go up to the top and down the stairs that are in the column that runs back down to the ground. Turns out they cheated death and made it to what turned out to be a very romantic dinner.
Yikes! Better them than me!

Check it out: Chris Harrison's EW Blog

C-Harr always writes a solid post-Bach blog, he's great about giving away a bit, but not the whole farm (he's more of a Jennifer than a Blakely in that respect...heyoooo!). I appreciated his fun fact about the driveway:

Yes, the driveway is wet. We water it down so that it looks pretty on TV. The other reason we water the driveway is we hope that someday it will grow to be a beautiful, big superhighway.

HILAR C-Harr!

He's infamous for claiming this is the Most.Dramatic.Bachelor.EVER. but I'm buying what he's selling in this case:

This week was emotional and intense, but I promise you it’s nothing compared to what you’ll witness next week. You got a sneak peek at what just may be the wildest night in Bachelor history. A woman who has a history with Ben and our show will return next week, and the fallout from this is incredible and must be seen. This is an episode that everybody will be talking about for quite some time.

DAH! Can't wait!

Check it out: Chris Harrison interview with TV Guide

I love this interview with C-Harr even more than usual, especially the following answer about Blakely. Check it out here.

Did Blakely get the group date rose for any reason other than her making a big move on him in the pool?
Harrison:
It was pretty much her [outfit] and the pool. The one thing about Ben is that he's a dude. Sometimes it's like, "Oh, he's so deep and so sweet" [but] he's also a dude. I think if you talked to him he'd be like, "Yep, guilty." But Blakely was cool, they had a good time and they got along. He didn't see the drama that was going on until the rose ceremony.
